What’s the Hype?
If you are reading this, chances are likely that you are at least remotely interested in networking. It’s also likely you’ve at least heard about the term “SD-WAN” (Software Defined Wide Area Network). There are numerous companies offering these services (and I know, since I’m in the business and get pitched constantly by the companies offering them). This paper will give a brief background of SD-WAN basics and some of the reasons why the market is quickly adopting this disruptive technology.
